In the previous lesson we have learned how to change our domain nameserver ( DNS ) and you must now have a domain name connected with your new web host , so that if you open your domain name .
you will see a white page titled with “index of” , if that what appear with you , so you are doing great , and you are ready to access to your Cpanel right now , if the index of page doesn’t appear , there are two possibilities , you may already uploaded a html file or uploaded any image , which now your website is not empty and have something to preview which is the thing you have uploaded .
the other possibility you may found it is ads from your web host provider , some of web hosting providers put their Ads in their empty website hosted with them , so this Ads will be removed as soon as you upload a new thing to your website .
If any other thing appear like godaddy ADs , then you did something wrong in changing the DNS or nameservers of your domain , as it is still parked at godaddy.com , go back to last lesson and read it again , and be sure that you put the correct DNS nameservers , if the problem remains , just contact your web host provider .

Okay , say that your website home page now is the “index of” page , so that you are ready to access to your control panel ( Cpanel ) and upload things to it .
Before anything , What is meant by website control panel , or Cpanel ?
In order to control your website , like uploading files , photos , scripts , creating databases , FTP accounts and many other important functions , you need to have a control panel so that you can access to all this functions to create a website as you want .
So you couldn’t create a Wordpress website without uploading it’s files and creating database for it , so with control panel ( Cpanel ) you will upload Wordpress files , and create it’s database .
What are the types of control panels ?
There are lot of website control panels , ” Cpanel ” is the most popular one and the easiest , Direct Admin panel coming after it .
And as we bought a web host with cpanel , so I will going to explain for you how and for what you can use , explaining the most important functions that you will always use in details . every function in a separated post .
Now , to go to your control panel ( Cpanel ) , open your browser , and write in the address bar , www.xxxx.com/cpanel , where xxxx is your domain name , the browser now will ask for putting the Cpanel user name and password .
Go to the email that the web hosting provider sent it to you after you bought the new web host from them , you will find your log in information for your Cpanel like this .
Copy your log in and password information and paste them in the browser , if this information is wrong , then the browser will ask you again for your log in information , go back to your email sent after registeration and check the information again , if the problem remain , then contact your web hosting provider asking them for your log in information or to create a new password for you .
If your log in information is right , you probably now in your Cpanel , like this one
You mus be now on the Cpanel , but maybe with different style or theme , in order to change your style , to have common theme with me , so that understanding the tutorials will be better , just search for the ” Change Look and feel ” button , click on it , and then choose the ” vskin “ style
