What is meant by 5000 megabyte disk space ?

All of us know that every folder , image , text and files have its size in your hard drive on your computer , and say that an image is one megabyte space , when you upload this image to your hosted site , your  allowed disk space ( 5000 megabyte ) will be reduced one megabyte as you use it in uploading this image , and consequently your  allowed disk space will be 4999 megabyte .

Others are not only designing  personal web pages , but they may have their internet business or they are going to share their high quality images on their website so they may need large disk space to be enough for such high quality images with large disk space .

What is meant by 300 Gigabyte Bandwidth ( traffic ) ?

Bandwidth ( or traffic )  is the a measure of the available or consumed data communication resources or it the data transfer rate per month , it is hard to zoom in the meaning of bandwidth , what you have to know about it that it is the amount of megabytes downloaded by your website visitors per month , say that you uploaded a film its size is one gigabyte , how many user do you expect can download this file ? or how many times it can be downloaded ? , it will be 300 time , as 300 multiply by one gigabyte will give you 300 gigabyte , that is the allowed bandwidth , and if you exceeded this allowed bandwidth your website will be closed until the next month begins and you have a new 300 gigabyte bandwidth , some of you may ask why is this option found in web hosting ?? , this is to decrease the server load that might happen from downloading a lot of files of  large size from different users .
In other way , if your allowed bandwidth is 300 gigabyte and you upload for example a game it’s size is two gigabyte , and it is downloaded one time , then your allowed bandwidth will be decreased by two gigabyte to be 298 gigabyte , and every time it is downloaded , your allowed bandwidth decreased by 2 gigabyte , and so on until the next month start and a new 300 gigabyte will be added to your website , try not to consume all bandwidth or your website or it will be closed until the next month to have new 300 gigabyte .
Also choose the right bandwidth , if you are going to have a personal website , just 10 gigabyte bandwidth is perfect for such a small website like personal one , if you are planning to have a big website like uploading files , sharing images , or create a website to stream videos , you can have twenty gigabyte as a start , and in the future you can upgrade this bandwidth to be hundred gigabyte to achieve your website Consumption  .

What is meant by Addon and Parked domain ?

Addon domain is an option that through it you can add more than one domain to one web host with different content and every domain is separated from the other and every one has different web space and bandwidth , for example you can buy three or four domains and connect them all to only one web host and everyone is separated from the other one and act like a separated web host ,  all of this can be made using the option Addon domains . If you have lot of domains it’s recommend  to buy a web host that offers Addon domains in order to save your money , and you will not need to buy a web host for every domain , but you will allow to host all your domains on only one web host and every domain have it’s web space and bandwidth separated from other domains .
for example you have a web host i’ts properties is 4 gigabyte disk space , and ten gigabyte bandwidth and you have 4 domains , you can host all the 4 domains on this web host only giving every domain it’s separated disk space and bandwidth , for example you can give the first domain 1 GB space and 3 GB bandwidth , and the second is 5 GB space and 6 GB bandwidth , and so on .
we can also say Addon domain option will divide your web host to a smaller ones every one act like a separated web host .

while parked domain is for example you can buy three or four domains and connect them all to only one web host and  the same web content , some people use this method in order to brand their websites more , others use them to save money , or sometimes when a company start their business online they may need to buy a domain name in all it’s extensions , for example if a company is named by zzz , then this company may think to buy zzz.com , zzz.net , zzz.org , zzz.info in order to make their name as a trademark name that no other one can use it as all these domains will be directed to the same website .

Addon Domain :

• is when you have two domains yourdomain.com and yoursite.com
• and you want the two domains to be totally separated and independent websites
• and every domain will have it’s web space separated from other

Parked Domain :

• when you have two domains yourdomain.com and yoursite.com
• yourdomain.com is your original domain that you use , and you want to add yoursite.com to go to the same place of the domain yourdomain.com
• in other words when someone type either yourdomain.com or yoursite.com they will go to the same place or the same  website
